How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Two of Cups describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

Two of Cups as feelings, upright

This is the couple's card par excellence: mutual attraction, emotional commitment, and a connection that feels meant to be. It can announce the start of an important relationship or a sincere reconciliation.

Two of Cups as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it reveals imbalance in a bond: one gives more than the other, misunderstandings arise, or the connection cools. Before breaking the cup, talk honestly. If there's no reciprocity, rethink the bond.
