How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Ace of Cups describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

Ace of Cups as feelings, upright

In love it's one of the best cards: the start of a relationship, a sincere declaration, or new emotional depth within the couple. Love arrives or is reborn. Receive it without fear.

Ace of Cups as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it points to held-back emotions or a cup that feels empty: unexpressed love, stored-up sadness, or giving so much nothing is left for you. Refill yourself first: no one can pour from an empty cup.
