Temperance as feelings
How to read a feelings question
A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Temperance describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.
Temperance as feelings, upright
In love it speaks of harmony and a relationship that heals and matures. Differences blend through dialogue and patience. It's a good time for reconciliation and for building steadily.
Temperance as feelings, reversed
Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.
Reversed, it points to excess, impatience, or a life out of balance. Something is overdone — work, emotions, habits. Find the middle ground before the imbalance takes its toll.
