How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Six of Swords describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

Six of Swords as feelings, upright

In love it means moving past a crisis together, or moving away from a relationship that hurt. The wounds travel with you for a while, and that's okay. What matters is that the direction has already changed.

Six of Swords as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it shows resistance to leaving the familiar, or emotional baggage you won't release. The boat can't move while you're still tied to the dock. Drop what weighs you down: not everything you carry is yours.
