How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Two of Swords describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

In love it reflects a divided heart, or a conversation both are avoiding. The apparent peace hides tension. Choosing is scary, but limbo wears you down more than any answer.

Two of Swords as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it announces the deadlock breaking: information arrives, the blindfold falls, and the decision can wait no longer. It may feel overwhelming. Breathe, sort the facts, and choose: relief follows.
