How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. The Magician describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

In love it speaks of initiative and clear communication: say what you feel and act on it. There is magnetism here, and the power to create the relationship you want.

The Magician as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it can point to manipulation, empty promises, or talent scattered without direction. Check whether you're using your power honestly — or whether someone near you isn't.
