How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. The High Priestess describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

The High Priestess as feelings, upright

In love it suggests deep emotions not yet fully expressed. Something may remain unsaid. Don't force things: let the mystery reveal itself in its own time.

The High Priestess as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it indicates you're ignoring your intuition, or that secrets and half-truths surround you. Reconnect with yourself: outside noise is pulling you away from what you already know inside.
