A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Six of Wands describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

In love it shows a relationship displayed with pride and happy moments others celebrate. If you were waiting for an answer or a gesture, the signs are favorable: love wins this round.

Six of Wands as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it speaks of achievements no one notices, recognition that doesn't come, or an ego inflated by victory. Your worth doesn't depend on applause. Also check whether you promised more than you could deliver.
