How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Six of Pentacles describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

In love it asks you to check the scale: do you both give and receive equally, or does one always contribute more? Mutual generosity nourishes; one-sided giving creates debt. Balance the scales honestly, without petty scorekeeping.

Six of Pentacles as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it warns of generosity with hidden conditions, burdensome debts, or giving until you're depleted. Look for the strings attached to every gift — including yours. Real help doesn't charge emotional interest.
