How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Seven of Cups describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

In love it warns against idealizing someone, or losing yourself in fantasy instead of seeing the real person. If several romantic options exist, choose with open eyes, not through the mirage.

Seven of Cups as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it brings clarity: the fog clears, you discard mirages, and you finally choose. Self-deception ends. With feet on the ground, your dreams now stand a real chance.
