How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Page of Cups describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

In love it announces tender gestures, shy declarations, or the delicate beginning of a feeling. It may be someone young or sensitive drawing near. Receive tenderness without mocking it: showing one's heart takes courage.

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it reflects oversensitivity, emotional tantrums, or hiding in fantasy to avoid facing reality. Feeling deeply isn't the problem; running from what you feel is. Let the emotion mature without shutting it off.
