A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Knight of Cups describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

In love this is the classic romantic suitor: courtship, thoughtful gestures, and beautiful words. It can announce a declaration or proposal. Enjoy the charm, and watch whether the gestures hold up over time.

Knight of Cups as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it warns of promises that sound beautiful and come to nothing, or someone who charms with no intention of committing. It may also be your own idealism dodging action. Ask for deeds, not just poetry.
