How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Knight of Swords describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

Knight of Swords as feelings, upright

In love it's intensity moving fast: direct declarations and sudden decisions. Frankness is refreshing, but haste can trample feelings. Speak the truth with tact and give the other person room.

Knight of Swords as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it warns of rashness and aggression: wounding words, decisions made without weighing consequences, or a charge at the wrong target. Rein in the horse. Thinking for two minutes isn't losing momentum — it's sharpening your aim.
