A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. King of Swords describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

In love it represents a rational, principled partner who shows affection more through consistent actions than effusive displays. If the bond feels cold, invite emotion into the conversation: reason alone cannot embrace.

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it warns of intelligence used to dominate: manipulation, rigidity, or judgment without compassion. Being right grants no license to crush. Check whether your logic serves the truth or merely your control.
