How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Eight of Wands describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

Eight of Wands as feelings, upright

In love it announces messages, declarations, or meetings arriving fast: the relationship picks up speed. It could be love at first sight or word from someone you've waited for. Things are moving: flow with them.

Eight of Wands as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it brings frustrating delays or haste that breeds mistakes. Messages cross and something gets misread. Slow down for a moment, clear up communication, and resume in order.
