How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. The Star describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

The Star as feelings, upright

In love it brings renewal and tenderness: a bond that heals, or the promise of a love that inspires. After hard times, the heart opens again with trust.

The Star as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it reflects discouragement and lost faith: the light is hard to see. The star is still there, even behind the clouds. Protect your energy, ease the pressure for a moment, and seek what reconnects you with hope.
