How to read a feelings question

A "how do they feel" question is answered by the card's emotional register, not by a yes or no. Four of Pentacles describes the mood and the direction of what the other person carries — read it as a snapshot of the connection now, and let the position of the card in your spread (their feelings, their intentions, the near future) sharpen what it refers to.

In love it warns of control, jealousy, or holding back for fear of getting hurt. Emotional security isn't achieved by gripping, but by trusting. Loosen your hands: love needs air.

Four of Pentacles as feelings, reversed

Reversed, the card keeps its theme but turns it inward, blocks it or delays it — read the reversed meaning below through that lens.

Reversed, it can mean you're finally releasing control and sharing more — or the opposite: runaway spending and intense fear of loss. Find the midpoint between hoarding and squandering: it's called trust.
